Abellathena was initiated in 1998 when the owner began to notice visible signs of stress and tension on the skin and body from the demands of corporate consulting and academia. After years of watching people need ways to de-stress and seeking knowledgeable skin care providers, Abellathena Life was born.

WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED TO PROVIDE BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?
Inform your skin therapist of any high blood pressure, diabetes, pregnancy, injuries, and allergies including seafood or seaweed allergies. It is also essential that you let us know of any significant medical conditions when booking your treatments. Please inform us of any medications you may be taking, especially Retin-A, Accutane, or any photosensitizing medications.
WHAT SHOUD I MAKE SURE MY SKIN THERAPIST KNOWS DURING THE APPOINTMENT?
Treatments are more effective and enjoyable with open and honest communication. During your treatment, let your skin therapist know if you feel any discomfort, prefer a certain level of pressure during your massage, or would like special attention on a particular area.
HOW SHOULD I DRESS FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
Dress comfortably for your treatment. Use the restroom before your treatment to avoid interrupting your relaxation. Some treatments will require you to remove jewelry and other accessories. Do not bring other people with you to the treatment room.
